The first ever International Day of Happiness encourages people all over the globe to reflect on what really matters, and to have lots of fun doing so.
Thousands of people around the world have pledged to spend today creating and spreading happiness.
The #HappyDay initiative has already reached more than 500,000 people from over 130 countries.
Thousands of people have pledged that “I will try to create more happiness in the world around me.” Many singing the praises of their ‘Happy Heroes’.
Who are yours?
I have a few.
My husband, who is always happy, even today when he is suffering with back ache, tooth ache, sciatica and a sore throat. He’s always a ‘glass half full’ bloke.
My kids (most of the time!)
And, my amazing friends. Without who I would not survive. You know who you are ladies. Thank you. You are my Happy Heroes.
So, go on, make someone happy today!
Special thanks to Mrs Gammon for being such a unique and supportive friend.
And to Curiosity Creates for inspiring me to write this.
Oh thank you 🙂 That’s a lovely post and woo hoo…we spread the happiness!
Oh, thank you Sarah! What a lovely and thoughtful post. You are very welcome. And I feel the same about you too! Smiles all round. xoxo
I forgot to say – lots of love from Mrs Gammon. 🙂
