Brighton Rocks – HiSbe

Image

I’ve been meaning to write this post for ages. If you’re in Brighton and haven’t seen HisBe yet then check it out. If you’re not then show them some love and support anyway!

I’m guilty of supporting some of the biggest supermarket chains out there. But with a growing family on a budget it’s hard not to. I’m not proud of it and when I heard about the new ethical supermarket HiSbe (How it Should be) launching in Brighton I wanted to be excited but I’m a glass half full girl. I couldn’t help thinking it was just another expensive health food shop where a bag of onions and carrots was going to set me back more than a bottle of Asda’s finest Gin. It’s NOT.

Two brave sisters are currently crowd funding to open their pilot HisBe store in Brighton this summer. You might have seen the blue shop front in town. They claim to be MORE Affordable. MORE Fair. MORE Sustainable. Their mission is to do the right thing, as well as make money.

My hat is off to yet another couple of amazing women starting such a positive local business. You ROCK. Brighton ROCKS. Best of luck.
