With all those massive headline acts Mr Rob Da Bank could afford at this years Camp Bestival it was 2 teeny weeny kids entertainers that absolutely SMASHED IT.
Dinky Dick and Dom Rip it Up DJ set on Sunday in Bollywood was something else.
The wee little duo hopped on a couple of flight cases to reach the decks and tore the place up.
In the words of my 7-year-old it was ‘ABSOLUTELY MENTAL!’
Think Wizard of Oz yellow brick road munchkin scene crossed with an early 90’s Whirl-y-Gig rave. Throw in some Coca Cola, a sprinkle of e numbers, blue Smarties and a sherbet fountain for good measure.

Kid’s were going absolutely bonkers for it. 40 something parents were break dancing and body popping. Even the odd grand parent was busting a move. They started with some kid friendly classic dance tunes but by the end of the gig they got deep down and dirty like you’ve never seen them before.
Daisy and I managed to sneak on stage and give an extremely sweaty Dick (or possibly Dom) a hug at the end of their set. My very cool and collected daughter was not at all starstruck, in fact, she was more excited to pinch a giant yellow balloon than say hello to the TV stars.Forget Sacha, Fabio and Grooverider. DJ Dick and Dom ROCKED Bollywood!
10 out of 10. Best atmosphere of the weekend.

Hahaha….I love that kids just expect to be able to talk to celebrities, they don’t even realise it’s special when they’re little. A great post 😀
