I’m out of here.
Challenging myself to a month without social media.
It’s going to be tough.
This post is really just to myself. A promise I suppose.
If you’re not an addict like me then you won’t get it.
if only life were that simple
Pretty depressing isn’t it?
Christmas come down, cold and wet, everyone skint, and nothing on TV but holiday ads reminding you of a life you can’t keep up with.
You can’t even cheer yourself up down the pub as everyone sets themselves ridiculous new years resolutions.
January is always detox time in our house. The one time of the year my husband does the shopping. Filling the cupboards with cardboard crackers that sit there till the following January.
For some ridiculous reason I agreed to take part in a Lands End to John O’groats relay for Sport Relief with my friend Maddie from Gammon and Chips.
Sport and I are not familiar friends. More distant cousins I suppose. Unless it involves a pint of cider and a heavy bass line the closest I come to exercise is an occasional go on Wii Dance if I can drag myself off the sofa.
This time in just 2 weeks I will be on a plane to see my big sister in Tasmania. I haven’t seen her in 7 years so am very excited.
Although we are far apart you are always in my thoughts.
This is me and Maddie from Gammon and Chips. Heading off on our #TeamHonkRelay this morning! A bright and sunny day in Brighton.
Before I signed up to this I really didn’t know much about Sports Relief and I had no idea that the work they do effects people so close the home.
My brilliant friend Mrs Gammon and I have joined #TeamHonk.
Yes, we have finally lost it and can think of nothing better to do on a Monday morning that roller skate 4 miles along Brighton seafront naked…
ooo oo oo ooooo! Get on board the freedom bus and head to good time city!
