to my most amazing friend

I have this friend. She is the most amazing person I know. A constant in my life that has always been there for me. She never judges and is always full of kindness and joy.

This note is for her and her brand new little baby.

May you both always walk with sunshine in your steps.

Enjoy every second of your baby moon.

Bonding with your new arrival is something you look forward to for 9 long months. Wondering what you will look like, the sounds you will make and the feelings you will create.

Your first few moments, hours and days are so precious.

Savour every second.

Forget the washing, the phone, the visitors and the mountains of gifts and just delight.

You hold this wonderful creation that will need you forever. Your life will never feel the same again.

Absorb each other.

These moments soon go and pretty soon you slide back in to the ‘real’ world. People telling you that ‘routine is key’ and all the other advice they bring.

Pause for as long as you possibly can.

Close all the doors and enjoy.

I miss my friends =( They got mad at me for beign so distant when I got pregnant but its really just hormones. Now I dont have them anymore. I miss them dearly. #MagicMoments
